Owen-Withee Students and Staff to Participate in Operation Blackhawk

Owen-Withee students and staff are ready to help Operation Blackhawk.

Maya Lindgren, mother of Carter Lindgren, will be traveling to the Philippines in mid-May to be with her family after the tragic loss of her brother-in-law.  The Villages in the area where she will be traveling were hit hard from COVID-19.

She wants to help make an impact in those villages and give back.  Maya, along with 9 Filipino volunteers and off duty police officers will be delivering food and supplies to those in need to help them get back on their feet and to show support all the way from Owen-Withee.

Outside of the high school office you will see a poster with envelopes on it.  Each envelope has an amount written on it (range .50-$20).  If you are able, pick an envelope with an amount and place that amount in the envelope and turn into the office.

Their goal is to raise $250 which will help feed up to 25 families.
