Bradley and Kloppenburg Head to April 5th Elections

Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 -- 11:17 AM

-Justice Rebecca Bradley and Appeals Court Judge JoAnne Kloppenburg will face off for the position of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice on the April 5th elections.

Both Bradley and Kloppenburg beat Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Joe Donald for the position. Kloppenburg has framed her campaign as a push back against the conservative Bradley who would further push the conservative majority. Bradley was appointed to the court by Governor Scott Walker back in October.

In Clark County, there were 1,163 votes for Bradley, 903 for Kloppenburg and 123 for Donald. The only other race happening yesterday here in Clark County was for a couple wards voting for Marshfield School Board members. Wards 1 and 2 of Freemont and Wards 1 and 2 of Lynn voted in that race. The results were 17 for Mark Critelli, 25 for Dan Wald, 42 for Amber Leifheit, 25 for Dale Yakaites and 21 for Thomas Binder. That was close to the actual results which saw Leifheit with 1,539, Yakaites with 1,276, Wald with 858, Critelli with 665 and Binder with 616. The top four advance to the April 5th election.
