Security Health Plan Names New Risk Adjustment/Revenue Manager for Government Programs

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has named Helen Brown to serve as risk adjustment/revenue manager for its Government Programs department.Brown will manage risk adjustment activities for Security Health Plan's Medicare, Medicaid and Health Insurance Marketplace plans. Brown will work with Security Health Plan provider partners to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation and coding for services rendered.
A Madison native, Brown studied economics and received a bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Brown began her career at Security Health Plan in 1997, working in the sales and marketing department. In 2003, Brown moved to Marshfield Clinic where she worked with physicians and staff to provide education on Medicare coding and documentation guidelines, reimbursement policies and payment methodologies. Since 2011 Brown has been manager of Medicare claims operations at Security Health Plan.
