Gilman Man Dies in Taylor County Logging Accident

-A Gilman man has died after a logging accident in Taylor County.According to the Taylor County Sheriff's Department, on Monday just after 1pm, the sheriff's department received a report of a tractor accident with a trapped individual on Shiner Drive near 7th Avenue in the Township of Roosevelt.
An investigation determined that the tractor operator, 49-year-old Brian Knusta of Gilman, has been using a farm tractor for logging. He attempted to pull a cut tree free with the tractor and the tree fell on Knusta. Knusta was pronounced dead at the scene. The Gilman Ambulance, 1st Responders and Lublin Fire Department also responded to the scene.
