Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Banquet, Final

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce held their Recognition Banquet at the Neillsville American Legion recently.After the award winners, Deanna Heiman, the award presenter, then went over the Anniversary Honors. One of the final honors went to The Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau for their 25th Anniversary. Greg, a member of the board, was present to accept the award.
Deanna: "Programs administered by Clark County Economic Development and Tourism Bureau are designed to support and promote economic development within the county and its communities primarily by attracting new industries, assisting in the development, retention and expansion of businesses and assisting communities in preparing economic development opportunities."
Greg: "We do work hard for economic development and tourism along with supporting organizations for the communities. We really appreciate this award and we look forward to continued participation and friendship with the City of Neillsville."
The last Anniversary Honor that evening went to the Optimist Club of Neillsville for their 25th Anniversary. The president of the club, Kathy Mathis, was present to accept the award.
Deanna: "Optimist International is a world wide volunteer organization. There are more than 2,500 local clubs. In researching the Optimist Club, I was intrigued by their mission statement, which is: 'By providing hope and positive vision, optimist bring out the best in kids."
Kathy: "This is really an honor for our club. 25 years is a long time and we have some 25 year members here."
