Employment Matters at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board unanimously approved hiring Roger Halida to be the head high school softball coach for 2016. They also unanimously approved hiring Avery Seubert to be the assistant softball coach for 2016. The board unanimously approved hiring Brain Lewison to be the head track coach for the 2016 season and approved his resignation as the Athletic Director. The board thanked Brian for his years of stellar performance in this key position in the district.
Finally, the board unanimously approved the retirement of Jolyn Miller from the District Bookkeeper position effective September 1st of this year. The board is very sad to see Jolyn leave this position, but wishes her the best in her retirement and thanks her for many years of impeccable performance for the District.
The board also unanimously approved the renewal of the five year contract with Pepsi to provide beverage service in the district. Through sales of juices and waters in vending machines, the district sees roughly $1700 in revenue each year. This money goes to the Jr/Sr High Student Council for their yearly activities.
