Central Wisconsin Forage Council Annual Meeting February 24th

-The annual meeting for the Central Wisconsin Forage Council is Thursday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. ? 3:00 p.m.It will be held at the City Hall in Loyal and speakers and topics include: Damon Smith, Assistant Professor Field Crops Pathology ? efficiency and economics of using fungicide on alfalfa in WI and the diagnoses and management of northern leaf blight and Goss's wilt in field corn; Richard Halopka, Clark County UW-Extension ? mid-west hay market report and Matt Lippert, UW-Extension Wood County- low lignin alfalfa; Midwest Forage Association ? benefits of membership.
Cost is $5.00 per person (covers cost of lunch) and pre-registration is required by February 19. Please contact the UW-Extension Office and membership is not required to attend this meeting.
