Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer stated that the referendum information mailer arrived to residents in Greenwood on February 1st and 2nd. The first public information meeting went well. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:30 pm at the Willard Athletic Club. An Open Enrollment promotional billboard went up for the district on February 9th.
He also said that work on the outdoor class pond has been completed. A deteriorated pipe was replaced and final grading and seeding will be done this summer. In regards to political news involving school districts, he stated that bills regarding concealed carry in schools, voucher school funding amendment, 37 new schools joining the voucher schools list and the referendum limiting bill were discussed.
Finally, High School Principal Todd Fisher provided updates from recent training sessions and a PBIS parent meeting was attended by 5 parents. He also announced the Elementary Spelling Bee winners who were Rylan Lindner in 1st, Laikyn Johnson in 2nd and Anna Aichele in 3rd. He also stated that the Middle/High School reward trip to Bruce Mound was Friday February 5th.
