National Farm Medicine Center Offering Free Skin Cancer Screenings at Marshfield Farm Show Next Week

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National Farm Medicine Center will offer free skin cancer screenings at the Marshfield Farm Show next week at the Marshfield Mall.Show goers can stop by the NFMC's screening area in the Community Room on February 17 from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The examination will be conducted by physicians from the Marshfield Clinic Dermatology Department.
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States, with one in five people developing it. Those who work in the sun, such as farmers, are more at risk. The screening program is made possible by philanthropic support from the Auction of Champions Fund a Need program.
