Three People Injured in Accident Involving a Truck and Snowplow on Monday

-There was a two vehicle accident between a truck and snowplow on Monday that injured 3 people.

The accident occurred Monday morning in the Town of Grant at the intersection of Granton Road and Pray Avenue. According to the accident report, a vehicle, driven by 49-year-old Ladd Elmhorst of Neillsville, was traveling east on Granton Road approaching Pray Avenue.

A snowplow, belonging to the Township of Grant and driven by 61-year-old Thomas Gorst, was stopped at the intersection. Gorst stated that he didn't see the truck in his mirrors and started to drive through the intersection. The truck hit the side of the snowplow and front of the plow blade and slide into the ditch. Elmhorst was ejected from the vehicle, his passenger, a minor female, slid into the driver's seat. All three were taken to the hospital by medical transport.
