They also happen to hold the title of the largest employer in Clark County. As a corporation, Cummins has ingrained a tradition of community service into its culture. At the Neillsville plant, they instituted an "Every Employee, Every Community" involvement program where Cummins paid their employees salaries for up to 4 hours of community service per year. In 2015, 89% of their employees participated which was the highest level in the plant's history."

Todd Brenamen, the plant manager at Cummins, added more about their volunteer program.

"We are very grateful, very honored to receive this award. The plant has an entirely new management team and most of us have been there less than two years. So, to receive this is really meaningful to us. Cummins holds, as one of its values, community involvement. Deanna mentioned the "Every Employee, Every Community" Initiative that Cummins has across the globe. So, 50,000 employees have the opportunity across the world to participate in that program."
