Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Annual Recognition Banquet, Part 1

-The Neillsville Chamber of Commerce held their Recognition Banquet on Saturday evening at the Neillsville American Legion.Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious meal and entertainment by the Clark County Male Chorus; all held in the large banquet hall which was beautifully decorated by Roni Kaczor-Smith. This event was also the first time that many people got to meet the Chamber's new Executive Director, Jana Schmitz.
The 2016 Board of Directors for the Chamber is Cheryl Anderegg of Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Bruce Davis of Davis Chiropractic, Deanna Heiman of Northern Indoor Comfort, Roni Kaczor Smith of the Optimist Club of Neillsville, Connie Opelt of Excel Plumbing, Kris Schmidt of Citizens Accounting, Brian Thompson of Norm and Ann's Campground and Sharon Wilsmann of Citizen's State Bank of Loyal.
The 2016 Ambassadors are Julie Bennett of First Weber Realty, Dan Clough of the Thirsty Bookworm, Karen Hoppa of the American Legion Auxiliary, Jenny Kujawa of Unity Bank, Jeff Opelt of Excel Plumbing, Tom Opelt of Memorial Medical Center and Regina Sebesta of Sunrise Real Estate.
Also, at the end of the event, a touching moment was held when the Chamber announced that their annual golf outing will now be renamed as the Ned Schmidt Memorial Golf Outing to honor Ned Schmidt who passed away last year.
