Black River Falls Police Department Arrests Two Men for Incident at Holiday Gas Station

-The Black River Falls Police Department arrested two men in Jackson County connected with an incident at a Holiday gas station.On Wednesday, authorities received reports of two men displaying a handgun inside a vehicle at the gas pumps of the Holiday station. Officers arrived to try and speak with the men, but they fled the scene and a pursuit occurred on Highway 27. It was terminated by the police department for safety reasons.
A short time later, the vehicle was spotted on Gilbert Road and another pursuit began. At the intersection of Snow Creek Road and Highway 27, a man jumped from the vehicle and was taken into custody. It was determined that this man was a victim and he was trying to escape. The pursuit continued with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisting, but that pursuit was terminated as well at I-94.
Finally, on Thursday, authorities arrested 42-year-old Peter Bennet and 35-year-old Kyle Field and they are being held in the Jackson County Jail pending charges. The investigation into the incident continues.
