Governor Walker's Presidential Campaign Finished Last Year Over $1 Million in Debt

(AP) -Gov. Scott Walker's presidential campaign finished last year with a little more than a million dollars in debt.Finance reports Walker filed Friday with the Federal Election Commission covering the fourth quarter of 2015 show his campaign owed $1.2 million as of Dec. 31. He raised just under $600,000 over October, November and December and had about $153,460 at year's end. He raised $7.9 million for the year and spent $7.3 million.
Walker entered the presidential race in mid-July but dropped out in September after fundraising couldn't keep up with expenses of a campaign operation that grew to about 90 staffers nationwide.
