Hixton Man Arrested for 6th OWI has Initial Appearance in Jackson County Court

-A Hixton man arrested back in December for his 6th OWI made an initial appearance in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, 53-year-old Adam Skaar drove his pickup truck through a wooden fence in Hixton. He also hit a parked car and hit a mailbox before he finally drove into a field. He failed the various sobriety tests and was arrested. He's also accused of having marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
His $5,000 signautre bond was continued and he's been charged with OWI 6th Offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC. He'll be back in court next month.
