(AP) -A mental health worker at the Tomah Veterans Administration Medical Center is charged with sexual exploitation by a therapist.Forty-seven-year-old Charles W. Davis was charged Thursday in Monroe County with two felony counts of sexual exploitation by a therapist. Davis also is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, a misdemeanor. According to the criminal complaint, Davis made repeated sexual advances to two female patients. The VA says Davis is on unpaid leave.
Davis was arrested earlier this month. His bond stipulates he may not possess a cellphone, and he could not be reached for comment. The facility in west-central Wisconsin came under scrutiny last year following reports that physicians were prescribing more painkillers than most VA hospitals, and that employees who spoke out were subjected to intimidation.
