Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer shared the preliminary January 2nd Friday pupil count with the board and an initial mock-up of the Open Enrollment promotional billboard was shared. Also, he stated that the switch from the DPI Educator Effectiveness model to the CESA 6 Effectiveness Project is underway and staff training is set for January 22nd.
Information was provided to Board to consider utilizing a service to provide a more thorough background check for prospective volunteers and employees and Mr. Felhofer sent a letter to the Chair of the Senate committee regarding SB 355, the bill limiting local school districts' ability to go to referendum, urging them to reconsider this bill. Finally, he said there is no candidate for the City of Greenwood School Board seat. Hopefully, a write-in candidate will set forth.
High School Principal Todd Fischer provided a review of the Santa Project and an overview of new committees established at the elementary school. A parent meeting has also been scheduled for January 18th to explain the PBIS program.
