Greenwood School Board Approves Referendum Question on April Ballot

-The Greenwood School Board approved the district's referendum question at their Monday meeting.The Greenwood School District will be going to referendum during the spring elections. The question reads: "Shall the School District of Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $850,000 for the 2016-2017 school year, and by $750,000 per year for the 2017-2018 school year through the 2020-2021 school year for non-recurring purposes?" It will be on the April 5th ballot.
The board also approved the second readings on Policy 5113, Open Enrollment, and 5113.1, Course Options, with both policies being adopted. The Board will review the initial 2016-17 CESA 10 Service Contract and a draft of the 2016-17 school calendar. Finally, Audit Reports were distributed and auditors will review the report with the board at the February meeting.
