Granton School Board Certify School Board Candidates

-The Granton School Board certified their School Board Candidates at their meeting on Monday.Paul Knoff, Granton's School Board Clerk, certified the school board candidates. Presently, only one candidate is running for the single seat. Incumbent Dennis Kuehn is running unopposed. The board approved the second reading of the Districts Open Enrollment Policy and they approved the first reading of School Board Policy Chapter 2, Section C which addresses how the school board would address an unexpired vacancy on the board.
In closed session the school board reviewed proposed staffing for 2016-2017and the board heard information from Granton Principal Rhonda Opelt regarding next fall's co-ops. The board will meet later in the month to finalize all coop agreements.
