Man Arrested in Abbotsford for Child Neglect and Drug Charges Enters Plea in Clark County Court

-A man arrested during the execution of a search warrant at a home in Abbotsford appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.Back in July, the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Social Services and the Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant at 419 North 3rd Street in Abbotsford.
Two adults, Gary Mann Jr. and Joan Mann, were arrested as was a 17-year-old. Gary has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of neglecting a child, intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia. He entered a no contest plea, and was found guilty of, the possession of a firearm by a felon, neglecting a child and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. A sentencing hearing is set for March.
In the incident, two children, ages 13 and 6, were removed from the home by social services. The two children were the ones that told the authorities about the drug use in the home. Joan Mann has no future court date set at this time.
