Give Blood In Owen Today

As we reach the end of 2015's holiday season, the American Red Cross reminds eligible donors there's still time to give the most meaningful gift of all, the gift of life, by donating blood or platelets.Blood donations often decline during the holidays when busy schedules, inclement weather and seasonal illnesses can make it more difficult for donors to make and keep donation appointments, but the need for blood doesn't get a break for the holiday season. During the final two weeks of the year, the Red Cross needs to collect more than 175,000 blood and platelet donations for those depending on transfusions at hospitals and transfusion centers locally and across the country.
You can help by giving blood today in Owen from 11:30am-5:30pm at the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center. Some other blood drives to put on your calendar include Friday, January 22nd from 12:15pm-5:15pm at the Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood and Tuesday, January 26th from 12:30pm-5:30pm at the Loyal American Legion.
