Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting last week.The usual amount of work was done in the city including equipment maintenance, dead tree removals, parks and cemetery maintenance, hauled brush and compost, maintained Christmas decorations, patched pot holes, picked up branches and more.
It was also stated that the bar screen at the sewer plant is operational, leaf pick up is complete for the year and there were some sewer backups in the area of Grand and West 4th Street. They are working on a plan to install backflow preventers to keep this from happening. They're just waiting on funding for this.
Finally, it was during the public works meeting that the employment matters and a 3-year phosphorous study were approved and sent to the common council.
