Employment Matters at Loyal School Board Meeting

-The Loyal School Board approved a couple hiring's at their meeting earlier this week.They hired a part-time Elementary Secretary, Rachel Stichert, and part-time Computer Lab Aide, Christine Geier. They also approved a new policy related to mileage reimbursement for families in financial need who open-roll here.
The board discussed the upcoming school board convention, authorized their food-service director to make a food purchasing decision for next year based on the decision of the group they are in, and discussed a needs assessment the staff did at a previous in-service.
Finally, the board tabled their board self-evaluation until next month and District Administrator Cale Jackson notified the board, as required this time of the year, any changes to administrative contracts they may want to make need to be started in January.
