CDC's Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the CDC's report at their meeting last week.Tim Swiggum reported that he has completed the City's Outdoor Recreation Plan. The County will be completing their plan by the end of the year and this will allow the City to apply for grants. Tim has been working on the City's flyers that go with the tax bill mailings.
At the United Communities Meeting the topic was community budgets and employee's benefits and the speaker for the Owen-Withee Chamber of Commerce Business gathering will be Andrew Nussbaum with the Dept. of Tourism on February 1st at the Meadowview Golf. Finally, the House of Friends received a $2,000 grant from the United Way.
