9-Year-Old Boy Abducted in Green Bay Found in Wood County

-A 9-year-old boy was found in Wood County after an Amber Alert went out Wednesday afternoon.The Wood County Sheriff's Department received a report around 3pm on Wednesday that a boy listed in an Amber Alert by the Green Bay Police Department may be in the county. The child was allegedly abducted by a non-custodial parent, 33-year-old Connie Smiley.
The information led the authorities to a home in the Town of Saratoga. Authorities confirmed they were there and Smiley was taken into custody without incident. The child was found unharmed and turned over to legal guardians. Smiley will be charged accordingly and the investigation is ongoing.
