Man Arrested in Abbotsford Drug Bust Sentenced in Clark County Court

-One of the men arrested during a drug bust in Abbotsford almost two years ago appeared in Clark County Court last Friday and was sentenced.At the end of February in 2014, the Clark County Sheriff's Department and Colby-Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant on Sycamore Street in the City of Abbotsford and authorities seized over $12,000 worth of methamphetamine from the home.
Jonathan Gates, of Ogema, and Anthony Rogers, of Wausau, were arrested during the bust. Gates was charged with possession of amphetamine and felony bail jumping. Rogers is charged with possession of amphetamine, possession of THC and a felon possessing a firearm.
Gates entered a plea to the charges against him back in September. He was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, the possession charges. The bail jumping charge was dismissed and read in. On Friday, he was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison and 2 and half years of extended supervision. He's also not allowed to have any contact with Anthony Rogers as well.
