Public Works Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting last week.Public Works Director Erik Stinson reported that he and another employee attended a DNR Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance training. Sewer Utilities must provide a CMOM plan to the DNR by January of 2016.
The Public Works Department has been busy: putting up Christmas lights, sweeping leaves, installed 1 new hydrant at Altenburg and Bjornstad, snow plow equipment is ready to go, worked on budgets, alley's were graded and pot holes filled in and, at the Mill Pond ice rink warming shelter, a door and window will be installed on the West side of the building facing the Mill Pond.
Owen Police Chief Andrew Schade gave a brief report and stated he attended Constitutional Law training in November.
