Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting on Tuesday.The Neillsville Police Department had 153 complaints, 81 service calls, 71 traffic citations, 101 traffic warnings, 8 traffic crash investigations, 11 ordinance citations, 16 adult arrests, 7 cases referred to D.A. for charges, 6 juvenile cases and 60 parking citations.
Some other notable activity for the department including a 27-year-old Owen woman arrested on a warrant, a man arrested for stealing alcohol from Kwik Trip and sleeping in Schuster Park after being released from jail the night before, an officer receiving a letter of thanks for handling a sensitive case, the arrest of a felon in possession of a weapon, a hit and run accident and an impaired driver passed out and blocking a lane of traffic on Highway 73.
