Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report during their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work was done in the city including equipment maintenance, removal of dead and broken off trees, parks and cemetery maintenance, hauled brush and compost, did some sanding/salting, patched some pot holes and more.
It was also stated that leaf pick up is complete for this year and all the Christmas decorations were put up and plugged in. The bar screen was put in at the sewer plant and a chain was put across the contractors access from Ridge Road to the airport property as hunters were using that area and even driving over the end of the airport runway.
During the communications portion of the meeting, it was stated that the recent Historic Tour of Homes went well as did the tree lighting and other Christmas events in Neillsville last weekend.
