Insurance Change at Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several items after a lengthy meeting on Wednesday.The board began the meeting by going into closed session to confer with their legal counsel on a case involving the county and the Town of Hoard in regards to fire protection. After entering back into opens session, they approved the appointments of Samantha Penry and Traci Breitung to the COP Advisory Committee.
The board approved a resolution offering condolences to the family of Roger Ashbeck, a county board member who passed away just before Thanksgiving of this year. The board also approved a resolution, proposed by the Clark County Public Property Committee, to obtain the county's insurance from the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation as opposed to the Local Government Property Insurance Fund which is what they've been using. This will generate a potential savings of $15,625.
