-The Neillsville City Council approved several items during their meeting on Tuesday evening. The council approved the retirement of the Water Department's Foreman and approved advertising the position to fill it. It will be posted in house first and then offered elsewhere after that. These items were discussed, and approved, during the Public Works portion of the meeting first.
The council also approved the polling place officials for the 2016 elections and approved the 2016 Audit Services from CliftonLarsenAllen for $21,700. One council member asked if the service is bid out as a way to keep the company honest and make sure the city is getting the best deal. The City Clerk/Treasurer stated that Neillsville pays less than all the towns in Clark County, but they can discuss doing that in the future.
