Central Wisconsin Literacy Council holding Flapjack Breakfast Fundraisers

The Central Wisconsin Literacy Council is holding a Flapjack Breakfast fundraiser in two sites on Saturday, December 12th.CWLC helps local adults improve their English skills in order to complete education, obtain employment, and live independently. CWLC also provides a Health Literacy program in the Marathon and Wood County areas. The organization recently received recognition for its innovative approach to sharing health information.
The Flapjack Breakfasts will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Applebee's locations on Saturday, December 12th in Marshfield and in Wisconsin Rapids. Tickets are $7 each and include a plateful of pancakes, sausage, and beverages including coffee, milk and soda.
All proceeds support the CWLC. Solarus Telephone is matching a portion of the income. CWLC will also award door prizes during the event. Prizes include autographed items from the Green Bay Packers, tickets to Brewers' games, restaurant gift certificates, unique books, and other items. One gift card is worth close to $200. Tickets are available at the door on the day of the event.
