Two People Arrested in Owen Drug Bust Appear in Clark County Court

-Two people arrested in a drug bust in Owen at the end of October appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.On Friday October 30th at about 7:40am, the Clark County Sheriff's Office with the Owen Police Department executed a search warrant at 504 N. Paul Ave. in the City of Owen. 37-year-old Brian R. Peo and 40-year-old Charles W. Lewallen were arrested as a result of the investigation. Brian and Charles also had warrants for their arrest.
They both appeared in the Clark County Circuit Court yesterday for their initial appearance. Charles received a $10,000 cash bond and Brian received a $5,000 cash bond. Brian also asked for a substitution of judge. Charles has been charged with maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture meth and child neglect. Brian has been charged with possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
