One Fatality in Car vs Semi Crash in Marathon County Tuesday Night

-Slippery roads led to a semi vs. car crash and a fatality in Marathon County Tuesday night.The accident happened on Highway 29 at the Highway 97 exit south of Athens around 8:30pm. According to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, the 29-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle while traveling west on Highway 29 when he struck the back of a semi.
The driver, whose name hasn't been released at this time, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. The crash is still under investigation.
