Neillsville Fire Department Called To Chimney Fire

At around 4:31 this morning the Neillsville volunteer fire department was called out to a chimney fire on Hwy 95 in the Town of Levis.According to fire chief Matt Meyer, upon arrival they found heavy smoke coming from a closet adjoining the chimney.
The department was able to contain the fire to that closet area. They were at the scene for around an hour and fifteen minutes.
