Woman Arrested in Black River Falls for Possession Appears in Jackson County Court

-A woman arrested in Black River Falls and charged with possession appeared in Jackson County Court for a motion hearing on Tuesday.Police pulled over Joanna Roybal and Shane Colvin for having a loud muffler and a defective license plate lamp. They found meth and marijuana in the vehicle at that time and both individuals were arrested.
Roybal's attorney filed a motion to dismiss and suppress the case. He wanted to suppress specific information and then have the case dismissed. After hearing arguments and testimony, the judge found that there wasn't sufficient evidence to suppress and dismiss the case. Roybal's court proceedings will continue.
