Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 -- 11:06 AM
-What better way to kick off the holiday season then to save a life by adopting a rescued pet or two? From Black Friday, Nov. 27 through Monday, Nov. 30, Clark County Humane Society is joining national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, along with animal rescue groups and shelters across the country to offer free adoptions. The event is sponsored by Zappos.com, the online retailer known for its customer service.
All adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Clark County Humane Society is an active partner in Best Friends' No More Homeless Pets? Network which offers help and support to animal rescue groups that save lives in their communities. Clark County Humane Society's 3-day holiday adoption promotion includes a free adoption fee and an Adoption Kit with lots of helpful information.
The event is taking place on Friday, November 27th, Saturday, November 28th and Monday, November 30th from 12pm-3pm each day. On Saturday, it will be held at their Paws and Claws Adoption Center in the Marshfield Mall. This special doesn't apply to prior adoptions and if someone is interested in adopting an animal, you still need to fill out an application. CCHS recommends you fill out the application beforehand and you can view pictures of the animals on their website.
