Local Businesses Can Get Involved with Santa in Blue Program
Tuesday, November 24th, 2015 -- 10:27 AM
-Local businesses have an opportunity to promote their business and spread some holiday cheer.Due to the return of the Santa in Blue Program, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, officers of the Neillsville Police Department will be stopping motorists traveling through Neillsville, specifically targeting those with out-of-state license plates. Instead of receiving a citation, those getting pulled over will be wished a Merry Christmas and will be presented a gift box full of items donated by area businesses.
If you'd like your business to participate, just provide 20 free items for the gift boxes, such as coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc., and contact the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce. They'll pick up your items for the program. The deadline for this is December 15th, so you must contact the Chamber by then. The Santa in Blue Program is sponsored by the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Neillsville Police Department.
