Greenwood School Board Accepts Grant from Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board

-The Greenwood School Board accepted a grant at their meeting on Wednesday.The board accepted a grant from the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board in the amount of $100. This grant will be utilized by the FACE program. The board also approved the employment of Dylan North as the C-team boys basketball coach, approved 5 volunteer applications and the District Guidance Counselor presented an overview of School-Based Health Services to the board.
The projected 2015-16 Budget includes an anticipated deficit of $274,858 for the Greenwood School District. After a review and discussion of the proposed budget, the board voted to approve spending into the Fund Balance to balance the 2015-16 District budget. Finally, following a second reading, the Board approved a change to the 836.1 Fitness Center Usage/Fee structure and they heard a first reading of Policy 453.6 Head Lice/Nit Policy. They reviewed a draft policy and discussed proposed changes.
