Convicted Sex Offender Moving to Marshfield

(Marshfield News Herald) -A 50-year-old man convicted of multiple sex crimes has moved back to Marshfield, according to police.William Pavlekovich, a registered sex offender, was released from prison on Tuesday and is now living in the 200 block of West 14th Street in Marshfield, according to a bulletin from the Marshfield Police Department.
Pavlekovich was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child in 2000, fourth-degree sexual assault in 2005, and second-degree sexual assault of a child and exposing a child to harmful materials in 2012. His victims were male and known to him.
Given Pavlekovich's criminal history, he has a potential to reoffend, according to police. However, police caution that Pavlekovich is not wanted by authorities at this time. Pavlekovich remains under supervision by the state Department of Corrections and is being monitored by an electronic tracking device.
