Clark County Board of Supervisors Approve Forestry and Parks Annual Work Plan

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several resolutions at their meeting on Tuesday.The first was in regards to the 2016 Forestry and Parks Annual Work Plan. This plan further defines and supplements the County Forest Comprehensive Land Use Plan. They also approved the Community Services and Social Services Contract. It's required by state statute that counties do this. The anticipated revenue from the contract is $6,056,416, but that doesn't include the county levy.
The board also approved the WIC Grant application which comes to a total of $187,038. This pays for all the costs associated with the 2016 WIC Program. A long list of outstanding checks was approved to be cancelled as well. The amounts ranged from $.30 to $89.85. There were a couple on the list that were amended from the resolution, but the total came to $477.50 for all the checks.
