Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Several Appointments

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors began their meeting with a brief presentation of the 4-H Key Awards.A member of 4-H receiving the award thanked the board for their support of the UW-Extension Office and 4-H. They also approved a long list of appointments including Gary Leichtman as the Veteran's Service Commissioner, Carol Oryszczyn and Peggy Erickson to the Clark County Library Committee, Louise Olszewski to the Wisconsin Valley Library Service and Jesse Nelson, Bobbi Schmidt and Jerry Quicker to the Housing Authority Committee.
The board also heard an update report from the Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau. The CCEDC provided some statistics on the help they've provided over the past 12 months. They also discussed the Workforce Council and employment, the recently completed, and very successful, Harvest Moon Fall Tour, they discussed housing, a recent visit by the Wisconsin Housing Authority's Director and the county sales tax.
