Abbotsford Woman Appears in Clark County Court for Child Neglect

-A woman arrested during the execution of a search warrant at a home in Abbotsford appeared in Clark County Court on Wednesday.Back in July, the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Social Services and the Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant at 419 North 3rd Street in Abbotsford.
Two adults, Gary Mann Jr. and Joan Mann, were arrested as was a 17-year-old. Joan has been charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, two counts of neglecting a child, intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child and maintaining a drug trafficking place. She was set for a plea hearing on Wednesday, but a status conference was held instead as she decided she didn't want to plead to the neglecting a child charges. She'll be back in court in December for a preliminary hearing.
In the incident, two children, ages 13 and 6, were removed from the home by social services. The two children were the ones that told the authorities about the drug use in the home.
