Colby Woman Charged with Her 5th OWI

-A Colby woman was charged with her 5th OWI this past weekend.According to authorities, around 2am on Sunday, 44-year-old Wendy Fremming was found in a ditch near Highway 29 in Stettin. She allegedly told police that she had been drinking and drank one more before police showed up because she knew she was going to jail anyway. Her preliminary breath test came in at .188.
Fremming has been charged in Marathon County Court with 5th offense OWI, operating a vehicle with a revoked license and failure to install an ignition interlock device. She's in jail on a $5,000 cash bond. Her other OWI convictions go back to 1996, 2001 and 2 and 2012.
