Local FFA Members Participate in Events During National FFA Convention

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin FFA delegation is calling their trip to Louisville, Kentucky a success.During the closing days of the National FFA Convention, five students from the Badger State were named national winners in their Proficiency Award areas. One local winning individual was Ashley Zimmerman of Spencer. Meanwhile, a number of Wisconsin FFA members participated in music and talent activities. Some local members participating in the National FFA Band were Dyllan Griepentrog of Spencer, Kathryn Lampi of Owen-Withee and Katelyn Zimmerman of Spencer.
A local national FFA Chorus member was Dakota Watton of Neillsville and Josie Jakel of Abbotsford was part of the talent performers. Next year, the National FFA Convention returns to Indianapolis, Indiana.
