Neillsville City Council hears committee reports

The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday.The council heard the report from the final Finance Committee meeting held on October 14th.
It was at this meeting that the council approved the wage schedules. The saw their first look at the city budget as well with Neillsville's expenditures coming to $3,422,562, revenues, not including property taxes, coming to $2,371,413 and the city levy coming to $1,099,604.
The council also heard the report from the Personnel Committee meeting held on October 20th. At that meeting, they approved paying an additional $2 an hour to the library director.
The council heard the report from the Public Library Board Meeting held on October 20th. It was at this meeting that the Library Director's resignation was accepted. They also approved Kathy Wagner as the Interim Director and they approved posting an ad for the new director.
