-With the holiday season fast approaching, the Clark County Area Food Pantry and Resource Center is in need of donations. The new food pantry opened back in April and they serve many families in need. The Food Pantry has a couple upcoming events to help raise funds and donations. First, a rummage sale will be held at the Food Pantry on West 5th Street on Saturday, November 14th from 8am-2pm. Donations are appreciated and you can drop those off during their open hours on Tuesday from 9am-2pm or Thursday from 1pm-6pm.
Also, on November 17th, Cub Scout Pack 43 will be holding a treasure hunt in the City of Neillsville to help support the pantry. The boys will have a list of items to find, but they will accept all donations. They will be looking for porch lights to be on in support of the cause. They will be out from 6pm-7pm that day.
If you have any questions about these events, other ways to support the Food Pantry or just questions in general you can contact Judy Morrow at 715-743-2885. Their shelves are low and the need is high, so any help or donations are appreciated.
