Memorial Medical Center and Marshfield Clinic Collaborating to Provide Oncology Specialist, Part 4

-Memorial Medical Center will be offering more services for those in need of an oncology specialist.Memorial Medical Center will be collaborating with Marshfield Clinic to provide oncology specialist hear in Neillsville. MMC's CEO, Ryan Neville, elaborated further on the benefits of this collaboration.
"I think what every patient desires is coordinated care. And coordinated care is difficult when you're dealing with one system and it's probably even more difficult when you're using two systems to manage your overall health."
"What I expect, and what both organizations are achieving for, is that coordination of care is seamless when we're providing the same care. So, when the two specialist, the primary care and the oncologist, are in the same facility, the coordination of care, whether it's through communication or whether it's coordination of diagnostic tests like labs and radiology so there's zero duplication, in that everyone is on the same page, there's a much higher likelihood of the patient feeling that collaboration and experiencing it as well."
Coming up on Friday, Mr. Neville will talk about MMC continuing to grow and always looking for community feedback.
