Unemployment Dropped or Remained the Same in All But One Wisconsin County

-Unemployment numbers dropped or remained the same for September in all but one of Wisconsin's 72 counties.This data comes from the latest figures release by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The rates ranged from 2.7 to 7.6 percent. The state's unemployment rate sits at 4.3 percent which is lower than the nation's 5.1 percent.
Clark County's unemployment rate was 3.3% for September, which was a drop from August's 3.5% and a September of 2014's 4.3%. Clark County ranks 48 of Wisconsin's 72 counties for September 2015 which is lower than August's rank of 51. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa had a rate of 3.5%, 3% for Eau Claire, 3.6% for Jackson, 4.1% for Wood, Marathon had 3.2% and Taylor is at 3.1%.
