Neillsville City Council Hears Committee Reports

-The Neillsville City Council heard the report from the various committee meetings held the past couple weeks at their meeting last week.They heard the TIF District #2 Joint Review Board report from their meeting on Monday, September 29th. It was at this meeting that Neillsville's TIF District #2 was labeled as distressed after being approved after a public hearing at the prior City Council Meeting. They also heard the Historic Preservation Commission report from Wednesday, September 30th. The commission approved ordering 300 calendars to sell at Autumn Harvest Fest, the held off on the note cards, discussed having the back page of the calendar for ad sales and they discussed the Christmas Tour of Homes.
Some other items brought up throughout the meeting include the water doing well and sewer struggling a bit in terms of getting the next loan payment made and the positive growth from Memorial Medical Center.
